Over the last 15 years, I have conducted surveys of critically endangered species, such as the Malabar civet, and undertaken studies on the ecology of the small carnivore community in the Western Ghats and Sikkim Himalaya. I have also examined the nature and extent of changes in the small carnivore community due to habitat fragmentation, in an agro-forestry landscape.
