For over 17 years, I have worked on small carnivore projects in Sulawesi, the USA, and South America. I recently completed a civet and mongoose radio-telemetry and surveying project on Peninsular Malaysia, and I am currently undertaking a GIS study of Asian civet and mongoose species. I have published several papers on small carnivores, and I am a co-author of the Viverridae, Herpestidae and Mustelidae book chapters of the Handbook of the Mammals of the World. Volume 1: Carnivores (2009).
