I work for the Spanish Ministry of Environment as the Director of the Iberian Lynx Conservation Breeding Program. I am also a Research Associate with the Smithsonian Institution. For over ten years, I was a researcher and coordinator of black-footed ferret recovery efforts, working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. I have also participated in projects on the fossa and European mink.
