My primary research area is in the field of tropical ecology, particularly of rainforests, with emphasis on applied ecological subjects such as restoration ecology and conservation biology. In addition, I have continuing academic interests in the fields of small carnivores, hornbills, plant-animal interactions and animal behaviour.
