I work for a French public agency studying the epidemiology of animal diseases. I am involved in a European project on SARS; in 2003-2005, I went to China to visit civet farms and markets. I am Chair of the French Mammal Society and I am helping to produce an action plan for the European mink. I am a member of the IUCN/SSS Reintroduction, Captive Breeding and Veterinary Specialist Group and I am a contributor to Small Carnivore Conservation.
