I have radio-tracked the least weasel in the Italian Northern Apennines. Since 2005, I have been working in south Portugal on a road ecology project that aims to study the spatial behavior of small carnivores in relation to national roads and highways, using live-trapping, radio-tracking, camera-trapping, and tracking plates techniques. The target species are the Beech Marten, the European polecat, and the Common Genet.
