I have been working with mesocarnivores (e.g. common genets, Egyptian mongooses, and foxes) since 1994, although my main focal species is the Eurasian badger. My research interests include mammalian ecology, Mediterranean forests vertebrate community structure, landscape ecology, and adaptations of carnivores to long-lasting agriculture, pastoral and forestry systems.
