I am a wildlife ecologist specialising in small carnivore ecology, especially introduced species. I am a member of the IUCN Invasive Species Specialist Group. I did my PhD on the introduced small Indian mongoose in Mauritius, and I continue to work on this species. I also work on invasive American mink in the UK, and have recently completed a five-year project eradicating this species from large sections of the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland.
